I have guided from as far North as Nome (White Mountain) to as far south as Kodiak Island over the past ten seasons. Most of the lodges I guide for are fly out lodges so I have had the opportunity to experience a great deal of water in Alaska. In the packages below I have chosen the best flies for you to catch fish. I learned early that a guide must produce numbers of fish as well as trophies. Learning the best flies and techniques to trigger strikes leads to happy clients and great rewards. Don't rely on the fly shops or lodges to have the flies you need. I know, I've been there! Come and look at the select flies in my fly box and go to Alaska prepared to catch fish. For each species you choose I will give you step by step instructions to tie the patterns, the best techniques to fish each fly (according to conditions), and the recommended equipment you will need to be successful.
